In a recent blog, we celebrated out Tameside team receiving praise from a local councillor for continuing to deliver an innovative service in the face of huge funding cuts. Foundation Tameside have had another visit, this time from Colm O’Brien Senior Housing Strategy Officer at Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.
Colm said:
“It’s great to visit Foundation and to see their inspiring and committed approach to working with some of our most vulnerable people in the borough. We welcome Tina Lee as Chair of the Preventing Homelessness Forum in Tameside”
Tina Lee is the Project Manager of the Tameside team. In response to Mr O’Brien’s comments she said:
“I am really pleased with Colm’s comments and am delighted to be taking on this new role chairing this multi-agency forum. I look forward to representing the interest of providers of all types, including voluntary and community groups and registered providers at the strategic neighbourhood board. I’m committed to improving the services and quality of life of all homeless people in Tameside”
In the week of World Homelessness Day, Foundation is proud to have team members with great passion, such as Tina’s, who strive to give support that can change the lives of hugely vulnerable groups.
