FOUNDATION SCARBOROUGH LAUNCH MERCURY HOUSE – A HUB FOR SERVICES TACKLING HOMELESSNESS IN THE TOWN.

Mercury House, Scarborough:

On Friday March 23rd, 11am-1pm Foundation Scarborough will host a launch event for their new premises in Mercury House, previously home to the Scarborough Mercury press. Robert Goodwill MP, will officially open the new offices and young person’s hostel based in the building.

The event will celebrate our work with both adults and young people, tackling homelessness and supporting independent living in Scarborough, where homelessness per capita is the highest in the UK outside of London. Alongside our partners we look forward to sharing information about our Resettlement and Community Services, Making Safe and North Yorkshire Young People’s Pathway (NYYPP) services which are based in Mercury House, along with our Housing Legal service.
