Kirklees
Introduction

We provide support to 130 customers in the Kirklees area, working in partnership with local agencies to enable offenders, young people and women working in the sex industry to live independently.

Schemes

Adult Offenders

In Kirklees, we have a 92 unit service for adult offenders which works in partnership with West Yorkshire Probation, Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing and other local landlords. We also have an innovative service in Kirklees which works in partnership with West Yorkshire Probation to attract volunteer mentors who will work with individuals to improve the rate of compliance with statutory orders.

Young People

Our services in Kirklees include a service for vulnerable young people that supports 20 individuals. Some of these young people may be at risk of violence, they may be at risk of offending or they may have experienced being in care. We also work with young offenders in Kirklees who are referred through local Youth Offending Teams. We provide accommodation and support for 10 young people at risk of offending.

Women In Sex Industry

In Kirklees, we have a dedicated floating support service for 10 women that works with individuals who are vulnerable, due to being at risk of offending or women who are involved in sex work.

Referral Routes
Foundation accepts referrals from many different sources. Customers may self refer to a number of the schemes and in others this may require a referral completing by a partner agency. Please contact your local office to discuss the necessary referral route.
