Human Resources Business Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional to develop their analyst skills within our busy and fast moving HR team. The main responsibilities of the role include controlling and processing payroll data (using Chris 21) and co-ordinating HR21; our new software allowing remote direct input of payroll data by team managers. Producing quality and timely Managment Information is another key aspect of this role; we want to develop our current HR reporting to produce robust information and analysis reports in order to identify areas for improvement and support management processes and decisions with reliable user friendly MI. You will also be involved in co-ordinating and in some cases owning project plans for many key HR initiatives and new ways of working.

Volunteering Opportunities

The Volunteering in Probation (VIP) Project

The Probation service is trying to reduce the number of people in prison serving sentences of less than 12 months. A large number of 18-25 year old offenders have breached their community orders and Probation aim to reduce these breaches.

The Aims

The ViP Project aims to work with volunteer mentors to quickly make contact with offenders under the managed ViP Project. Mentoring on a one-to-one basis helps build trust between mentor and mentee. The mentors aim is to assist probation staff to motivate offenders to comply with community orders and reduce the number of breaches to those orders.
