Housing support for offenders with complex needs – a success story
We don’t just offer housing support to adult offenders and those in vulnerable positions, but we look at the whole person’s history so we can help them overcome their personal challenges and get the specific help and support they need.
In this success story, we’ll hear from June, who went from a childhood home broken apart by gambling, to binge drinking and prison, to finally having a place to call her own and volunteering with Foundation.
Supporting those within the criminal justice system
Our Calderdale team provides a range of support services to 110 vulnerable people throughout the Calderdale district.
We support up to 70 adults involved in the criminal justice system, offering tailor-made floating support to help customers access accommodation, and to help build on their ability to live crime free, independent lives.
We also support up to 50 customers per year on our Triage scheme, which works with customers who are at risk of losing their property as a result of:
