Foundation, a housing charity based in the North of England has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating their commitment to high performance through good people management.

Foundation was established in 1984 in Leeds by a small team of probation officers who were determined to provide homes and support for those leaving prison. Over the last 30 years, Foundation has extended its work to include young people, care leavers, families affected by domestic abuse and homeless people across by helping them to gain full independence in their local community. Its teams are situated across 20 towns and cities in the North of England providing individual support plans and stability for their clients

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
