Commissioners & Partners

Our housing support services are commissioned by local authority 'Supporting People teams' across Yorkshire & Humberside and the North East.

We are contracted to deliver short term (up to 2 years) support services to excluded people; around 50% of our customers are ex-offenders. We offer two models of support: "floating support" and 'accommodation based'. The former supports the customer to maintain their tenancy by developing independent living skills and resolving the issues that put their tenancy under threat. The latter provides accommodation and support to develop a customer's potential for successful independent living.

In addition to housing support we provide a wide range of other services to socially excluded groups such as housing advice, homelessness prevention, family mediation, substance misuse services, information advice and guidance and activities work for young people. These services are commissioned by local authorities, Probation Trusts, Primary Care Trusts, Government departments and charitable trusts.

Of course, as needs change, so must we. Our commissioners and partners tell us what they want and our services change to meet those needs. We work closely with our commissioners and partners. It's a partnership that ensures effective joint working delivering the best possible outcomes for our customers and for the wider community.

And that's exactly what we do. As one of our commissioners said: "Foundation has a pleasing ability to deliver miraculous outcomes on a regular basis."
